Well, it is time to start making your new wreath for the fall. To start I will assume that you have brought a grapevine wreath, it is very similar to the one I have hanging on my door.
You will need to decide on color, that would be a determining factor, If the wreath you have is the same color as your door. Ok, the base color will blend with your door.
Since this is fall the colors you add to your wreath will add color to your door. The filler should be orange , dark reds, some green/brown. Come to think of it, just like fall and all the items you see in the store.
Divide your wreath into 4 quarters in your mind. What is the top going to be? you had better put a hanger on it right now. I am thinking of a zip tie? Did you buy some? Remember the hanger will be on the back of the wreath, there is a front and a back to these types of wreath.
Ok, on the top just below the twigs there will be a good strong branch, put the zip tie through the woody thing pull the un-zip tie end through the little square end pulling it into a loop. This loop must be big enough to hang on your hanger you have on your door, and it must be loose enough to hang freely on your door. Go try it out.
ok, do you want some glitter on the darn thing prior to adding your filler? Then spray it, with your glitter spray, and it you want more of a sparkle add so spray glue to your wreath, and put some glitter on the glue. I hope your took down the wreath from the door? I have a small amount of glitter on my door from last year. I am such a magpie, glitter on my door.
