Patina Copper figure of UR young child clothes

Check out this pic

This is a perfect idea for you and a remembrance of UR children or Grandchild.

If you don't have either, like me, I made this item as a entry way, greeter. We won't be making it till early spring or summer, since it needs to sit outside in the sun to dry. But since it will be late in the season on overall's you need to buy your supplies now.

Gather up a small pair of overall's either from the Goodwill or used children store, or check out Ross's final clearance sale. You will also need a pair of shoes to go with this one. I found tennis shoes worked best. Look at the pic closely you can see the front of the overall's have a embossed pocket this is done with a doily, that I found at JoAnn's or Micheal's. So think out of the box on finding something that gives a unique look to your overall's front pocket, buy two since there will be a need to add something to the back pocket.

Of course if you have these things laying around the house, then save them.

If you are buying shoes, then pick up some extra socks, so you can give them to your local "shoes that fit" organization. They give shoes and socks to kids that don's have new shoes, as it has been said, if you don't have shoes that fit, then you usually don't have socks to wear with them. This program works with your local school, the school sends a emergency need note to the local "shoes that fit", so the child can be given a pair of new shoes plus socks.

Think how good you would feel if you didn't have any shoes that fit and you were given your one and only pair of shoes that fit, and they were new, plus some socks to go with it. We can always give back or as it is saying now "paying it forward".
